MEET NIKO

Niko is the FINAL FURY Fight Federation’s newest up-and-comer, but is he ready to take on the likes of Glitch and Tempest? The lightning-quick scrapper sure thinks his cybernetic implants are up to the task! Let’s find out more about this kid from the mean streets of Primax!

Niko’s loaded with BABYLON’s experimental, Vygor-powered cybernetic arms. Each fist delivers high-voltage haymakers that also give him unnatural speed to literally slip through attacks.

Niko’s hit-and-run playstyle is all about quick dashes, lightning-fast strikes, and overwhelming pressure. This scrappy underdog zips in, hammers opponents with his gorilla-like fists, then bounces out before anyone can react. 

⚡ Proton Punch – His signature move is a short-range strike packed with raw energy, capable of breaking reversal shields, and setting up devastating combos.

However, it’s his unique, high-speed dash mechanics that really lights up the crowds.

⚡ Phase Dash – Niko’s dash isn’t just fast—it’s a blur. He can chain dashes more frequently than most fighters, but what really sets him apart? He doesn’t dodge obstacles—he phases straight through them. Projectiles, bomb triggers? They don’t even touch him. Blink, and he’s already on the other side, ready to strike!

We spoke with one of Niko’s trainers, Kluge Interactive’s Rob Alvarez, to help really understand how Niko can command the arena.

💥 High mobility—always moving!

“Niko’s meant to be fast, do a lot of damage, and then go back to safety. So using that dash, you can easily gain distance, go in the face of your opponent, hit them with your powers, and then go back to recharge in the back of the arena.”

💥 Massive close-range damage

“One thing we are trying to do is make him be very powerful when he’s very close to you. His Proton Punch can do a lot of damage, but in a very small area in front of you. So you need to be in front of the character.”  Of course, if you do that, the opponent is likely going to start blocking you. 

“With his speed, Niko can start chipping away at opponents even as they try to block. So, you need to keep pressing the attack”

💥 Low health—stay on the move!

“Here’s the thing, though,” Rob adds. “Niko doesn’t have quite as many defensive options, so if he gets grabbed, rooted, or stunned, he’s quite vulnerable. He’s very much a hit-and-run fighter, so be ready to dodge and dash around the arena.”

NIKO’S HOME TURF: Cybernetics Lab

BABYLON didn’t just hand Niko his Vygor-powered cybernetic arms out of generosity—no, they had bigger plans. In exchange for testing their experimental tech in the tournament, they gave him access to their state-of-the-art Cybernetics Lab, and now it’s become his personal battleground.

This high-tech neon-lit arena starkly contrasts the other stages in FINAL FURY. Gone are the icy blizzards of Tempest’s Eye of the Storm and the rusted scrap piles of Glitch’s scrapyard—instead, pulsing energy conduits, holographic displays, and cutting-edge robotics surround you. Sparks fly as machinery hums with power, and every battle feels like a QA test run for the next generation of combat technology.

Niko, alongside Glitch and Tempest, are playable right now in this latest test build of FINAL FURY. Each fighter brings a different style and set of tactics to the arena – and we still have more competitors to introduce!
